Mary Lowrey, M.D., is a Psychiatrist who is double Board Certified in General Adult and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the Florida State University (FSU) Honors Program. After completing her medical degree from the University of South Florida (USF) College of Medicine in 2002, she remained at the USF Department of Psychiatry, where she completed her General Psychiatry Residency and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Trainings. While in Residency and Fellowship Training, she worked at Tampa General, James A Haley VA, Bay Pines VA, Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospitals, and the Silver Child Development Center at USF. She is currently a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the Florida Psychiatric Society, and the Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. Dr. Lowrey has many years of experience working in Outpatient and Inpatient psychiatric settings, treating children and adults of all ages. She has been on staff at several not-for-profit hospitals in Pinellas County, including Mease Dunedin and Morton Plant Hospitals. She has also served as the Medical Director for community-based services for children and young adults in Pinellas County. Dr. Lowrey has diverse clinical experience and excellent clinical training. She is compassionate, empathic, and has an excellent bedside manner.
